<< return to previous page Michael Ahrens Michael Ahrens Global Superyacht Forum 2009 10 years of sailing experience including services in the commercial navy where followed by several years as building supervisor with projects in Holland, Spain and as far as India. 1984 Michael Ahrens became the first sales director of newly established Moonen Shipyards. In 1990 a sharp turn took him on the position as sales director at Abeking & Rasmussen. Driving a strategic change from a shipyard building predominantly military ships to a successful player in the market of large displacement motor yachts, developed into a 10-year marathon.
