<< return to previous page Chris Atkinson Director, Acamarine (France) Sarl Global Superyacht Forum 2007 Chris Atkinson is the founding Director of Acamarine (France) Sarl based in La Rochelle. Chris has run the business for over 15 years, firstly pioneering gel coat removal for osmosis treatment and then in the mid 1990s expanding services to include painting, fairing and paint management for luxury yachts. Chris has founded Acamarine's reputation on the traditional application techniques such as the traditional long boarding system. Chris and his teams work throughout Europe on new build and re-fit projects at the larger end of the market. Recent projects have included painting Kogo for Alstom, winner of the 2007 Boat International Superyacht Awards, in class and which scooped the 'Motor Yacht of the Year Award'.
