<< return to previous page Dr Jan Dreyer Partner, Dabelstein & Passehl Global Superyacht Forum 2007 Dr Jan Dreyer was born in 1960, and became a banker in 1980. He has been a lawyer in Hamburg since 1989, travelling abroad and collaborating with internationally active lawyers in Los Angeles, California. During his postgraduate studies for a doctorate, he was also active with both a smaller, business-orientated law firm in Hamburg and as an associate in a major German law firm. In 1993 Jan Dreyer started as an in-house lawyer for the shipyard Blohm + Voss AG. There he was mainly engaged in the conclusion of shipbuilding and repair contracts as well as international plant construction projects. After reorganisation of the yard he was made a partner of the law firm Dabelstein & Passehl (1996).
