<< return to previous page John Corrough President/CEO, The Corrough Consulting Group Global Superyacht Forum 2007 John Corrough is President and Principal Consultant of the Southern California-based Corrough Consulting Group (TCCG). For the past 42 years, John has planned, designed and helped implement over 600 maritime projects in more than 80 countries. He was recently hired to plan, design and oversee implementation of a 290-slip large vessel and uperyacht marina - the largest concentration of Superyachts on the west coast of the Americas - with a yacht club and Superyacht centre for the Porto Hussong luxury condominium, hotel and marina resort now being constructed in Ensenada, Baja California. Prior to founding TCCG in 1986, John held ownership, management, project management and technical positions with several major US-based international planning, architecture and landscape architecture desgn firms and development consulting firms. He earned a Bachelor's degree in architecture, urban design and planning from Washington University in St Louis. He has also completed postgraduate studies in real estate development, landscape architecture, environmental analysis and site, civil and coastal engineering at Brown University - Rhode Island School of Design, USC and UCLA. John is a frequent speaker at maritime conferences and contributes articles regularly to Marina World and other international maritime media.
