Last week, on the Friday of the Monaco Yacht Show The Yacht Report, Awlgrip and Northern Lights hosted a thousand guests from the exhibiting yachts and industry figureheads for the annual Captain's Party at Stars 'n' Bars. Tickets were like gold dust, with keen would-be attendees contacting the organisers up to a month in advance to secure their invitation.

A perennial bash to celebrate the last night of one of the biggest superyacht boatshows on the calendar, there was plenty of food and drink to satisfy the appetites of the guests, a mechanical bull for those brave enough to put on display their balance and stamina, and the dancefloor was packed with yachties letting their hair down for a last night of networking, fun and catching up. Captains and crew from all the exhibiting superyachts were in attendance, including Hokulani, Amnesia, Bad Girl, Two Kay, Anati, A&I and many, many more.
